Visual Rhetoric Analysis

This advertisement portrays women as sexual objects.  It is clear that the advertisement portrays this because as you can see, the advertisement portrays a woman about to perform a sexual act on the "super seven incher."  The actual title of the sandwich is also degrading to women because the name "super seven incher" hints toward the length of male genitalia, which the woman in the advertisement is about to eat.

Definition of Reality

My definition of reality is that which a person can taste, touch, smell, hear, and see.  Reality is also the environment that we interact with.  Reality causes us to feel emotions such as happiness, sadness, love, and anger.

Academic Honesty

I, James S. Slattery pledge to neither give nor recieve dishonest help on any non-group related academic work for my English 103 class for several reasons.  I will be academically honest throughout this class because I believe that when a student is academically dishonest it gives him or her an unfair advantage over all other students.  Another reason why I pledge to be academically honest is that the work that I would be avoiding by cheating is intended to increase my intelligence and success later in life.  Cheating would also insult and disrespect my professor as well as my parents because cheating represents laziness and the absense of will to try harder and actually get the education my professor is providing and my parents are paying for.
